Amit Patel is the Founder and Managing Director of Mythos Group. He works with CEOs, boards, and executive teams on AI strategy, governance, and adoption, including the shift to agentic AI. He sets the strategy, then stays until the change holds.
Twenty years of transformation work point to one pattern. AI programs rarely fail on the model. They fail on a decision nobody owns.
His training covers both how AI creates value and how organizations change to capture it. He is Harvard-trained (HDSI) in AI leadership, governance, and agentic AI, and certified in change management (Prosci), organizational design, and leading transitions (William Bridges). He holds a master's in Strategic Planning and Organization Development from Johns Hopkins, where he also completed the AI Business Strategy program.
At NetApp, he built the strategy behind $2 billion in revenue growth and repositioned its Nvidia alliance around enterprise AI. He set the National Library of Medicine's five-year modernization agenda, bringing in AI and natural language processing. He helped turn around Kentucky's derailed Medicaid modernization with Gainwell Technologies, and he led the organizational integration of Baxalta through its divestiture from Baxter and $29 billion acquisition by Shire.
He has advised organizations including Microsoft, Cisco, Wells Fargo, BMO, PwC, Kaiser Permanente, Procter & Gamble, Mondelez International, and AAA. He co-authored Turning Ideas Into Impact, has written for Leader to Leader, and has been quoted by PYMNTS on ambient AI. Today, he brings an operator's hand to two stealth AI ventures.
